Antique Hair Receiver

This is an antique hand painted porcelain vanity box with a central opening in the lid, commonly known as an antique hair receiver. These lidded dresser jars were popular during the Victorian and Edwardian eras, used to store loose hair from brushes to later make "ratts" for voluminous hairstyles. 

In good shape with zero cracks, chips and zero pain loss. No makers mark. use pictures for reference.
